PS2 hardware
One of the main reasons for buying the PS2 for me was it's range of hardware.
The Logitech steering wheel. This is the "official" wheel for the Gran Turismo 3 game. This can be found on the Logitech website here. [+]
The network adapter. This allows you to plug you PS2 straight into you broadband connection and play online Although this isn't actually launched until later this year (2003). If you look at the larger picture (click on the plus sign), you will see the adapter in more deatil and alo that it has two sockets. One is a network lead socket, and the other, is a modem socket. This means that if you don't have broadband, you can hook up to the internet using your dial-up account. [+]
A Sony apporved Linux kit is also available. This means (if you want, and are able) you can develop programs etc for your PS2! IN the kit you get a hard disk, a network adapter, a special lead to plug your PS2 into a monitor, keyboard and mouse oh and of course a PS2 version of Linux. Linux on playstation home.
I swear this is not mine, but you can get, and we have got, a dance mat for the PS2.
