SpyBot Search and Destroy		Looks for hidden spyware on your PC and removes it. If you have broadband or use things like Kazaa etc, I would recommend this.
GriSoft AVG Virus checker		A good, fee Virus checker. Has regular updates and doesn't bombard you with adverts or any of that other nonsense!
Zone alarm		A firewall for your PC. Not the easiest thing to set-up, but worth it.
Easy Thumbnails		A batch image resizer. So far, so good. Have used this a few times and it's worked brilliantly. Give it a try.
